Généalogie Tricotée- A Knitted Pedigree 

Took place in auraclothesoflight in Brussels. The title of the exhibition refers to a  family of handmade garments. They are related to one another yet very different. They fulfill different roles. Like family members. They complement and sometimes contradict each other. Each piece combines different forces and gives its wearer different insights. But ‘Généalogie Tricotée- A Knitted Pedigree’ is also an homage to craftsmanship. The attitude of the artisan that seems to be passed on by blood from grandmother to grandchild. Everyone does it differently but the attitude remains the same.
